Our vyshyvankas are crafted from high-quality natural and blended fabrics: Linen, Home-woven cloth, Gabardine, and Cotton blends.
🧺 1. Washing (Hand Wash Recommended)
- General Rule: Hand wash in cool water (not exceeding 30°C / 86°F).
- Machine Wash: Use "Delicate" or "Hand Wash" cycle only.
- Preparation: Always turn the garment inside out to protect embroidery.
- Detergent: Use mild liquid detergent. Do not use bleach.
💨 2. Drying
- Air Dry Only: Do not tumble dry (prevents shrinkage of natural fibers).
- Method: Gently press out water (do not wring). Dry flat or on a padded hanger in the shade.
- Sunlight: Keep away from direct sun to prevent color fading.
✨ 3. Ironing (Crucial Step)
- Temperature: Use the "Cotton" setting.
- Pro Tip: Iron while the fabric is still slightly damp.
- Embroidery: Iron ONLY from the reverse side (inside out) to maintain texture and volume.
Note: Natural fabrics like Home-woven cloth and Premium Cotton may shrink slightly if washed in hot water. Always stick to cool water for the best results.
