The very term “reconquest” is associated with the process of regaining control over a certain territory that has been lost or occupied. Historically, the Reconquista is associated with medieval Spain, which, taking up the sword, fought for more than seven centuries in a row to regain control over its territory and finally free it from its enslavers.

The print is based on the idea of reconquest in Ukrainian – our struggle to liberate our territories from invaders.
